I have had so many requests for additional bathrobe sizes, and I really appreciate the interest! I haven’t had time to test additional sizes, yet, but I wanted to at least publish the patterns showing the numbers I believe will work based on my gauge. I will keep adding sizes to this page until I have a chance to test them and publish them individually with photos and video tutorials. Please note that all of the sizes published here are untested!

2T/3T Toddler Bathrobe- Free Pattern!
12/18 Month Toddler Bathrobe Pattern
Size: S
Gauge 9/10 stitches, 5/6 rows= 4 Inches
Materials: Bernat Baby Blanket- 7 skeins (?)
Crochet Hook: Size K or size needed to obtain guage
Bottom section:
Ch 68
Row 1: skip first 2 ch, DC across (66 st)
Row 2-Ch 2 turn, DC in same stitch and in each stitch across (66 st)
Rows 3-18- repeat row 2. Do not fasten off.
You can increase or decrease the number of rows for a longer or shorter bathrobe.
Now you will work 3 separate sections which will become the 2 front panels and the back of the robe.
1st front panel-
Row 1- Ch 2, DC in same stitch and in each of next 16 stitches (17 DC)
Row 2-8- Ch 2, turn, DC in same stitch and in each stitch across (17 DC) Fasten off
Back Panel:
Return to last row of Bottom Section. Starting in the first stitch following the first front panel, join with slip stitch.
Row 1- Ch 2, DC in same stitch and in each of next 31 stitches (32 DC)
Row 2-8- Ch 2, turn, DC in same stitch and in each stitch across (32 DC) Fasten off.
2nd Front Panel:
Return to last row of Bottom Section. Starting in the first stitch following the first front panel, join with slip stitch.
Repeat first front panel. (8 rows of 17 DC)
* or, you can also turn the robe so the other side is facing and rework the front first panel on the opposite side (from outside to in)
Join Shoulders:
Fold the front panels over to meet in the center. Slip stitch the outer 7 DC on each front panel to the outer 7 DC on the back panel.
Your piece should now resemble a vest, with 38 stitches around the neck.
Hood:
This is made in 2 sides that are then joined together.
First Side:
Join with slip stitch to the first of the 38 unjoined stitches at the top.
Row 1: Ch 2, DC in Same stitch and in each of the next 9 stitches, 2 DC over the corner where the front and back panels meet, DC in the next 9 Stitches, Turn (21 DC Total)
Row 2-5: Ch 2, DC in Same stitch and and in each stitch across, Turn (21 DC Total)
Row 6: Ch 2, Decrease DC in Same stitch and Next DC, DC in Same stitch and in Each Stitch Across (20 Stitches Total)
Row 7: Ch 2 DC in same stitch and in each of the next 17, DC Decrease over last 2 Stitches (19 Stitches Total)
Row 8: Ch 2, Decrease DC in Same stitch and Next DC, DC in Same stitch and in Each Stitch Across (18 Stitches Total)
Row 9: : Ch 2 DC in same stitch and in each of the next 15, DC Decrease over last 2 Stitches (17 Stitches Total)

Stitch the two sides of the hood together from the top to the neck
Sleeves:
Join with slip stitch to the bottom stitch of the armhole.
Round 1: Ch 2, DC 24 times evenly around the armhole. (24 DC)
Round 2: Ch 2, DC Dec in same stitch and next stitch, DC in each of next 20 Stitches, Dec over last 2 stitches (22 DC)
Round 3: Ch 2, DC Dec in same stitch and next stitch, DC in each of next 18 Stitches, Dec over last 2 stitches (20 DC)
Round 4: Ch 2, DC Dec in same stitch and next stitch, DC in each of next 16 Stitches, Dec over last 2 stitches (18 DC)
Round 5-16: Ch 2, DC in same stitch and in each stitch around (optional- you can decrease in round 5 the same way you did in rounds 2-4 for a narrower sleeve)
* 16 rounds should give you enough length to cuff the sleeves. You can decrease or add rows to have no cuff or a bigger cuff.
Repeat for second sleeve.
Belt:
I made a simple belt repeating rows of 2 DC. You can make the belt as long as you choose to. You can make belt loops or stitch the center of the belt to the center of the back of the robe to keep it in place, but I actually do neither and just tie it around.
Finishing:
Fold the first few rows of the hood back and cuff the sleeves.
Size: 6-7
Gauge 9/10 stitches, 4 rows= 4 Inches
Materials: Bernat Baby Blanket in any color
Crochet Hook: Size K or size needed to obtain guage
Ch 74
Row I: skip 2 , DC across (72 st)
Row 2-Ch 2 turn, DC in same stitch and in each stitch across (72 st)
Row 3-21- repeat row 2. Do not fasten off.
You can increase or decrease the number of rows for a longer or shorter bathrobe, but remember when you are finished with this part that it only represents the length from the bottom of the armholes to the bottom seam.
Section 2: The Top Panels
Now you will work 3 separate sections which will become the 2 front panels and the back of the robe.
1st front panel-
Row 1- Ch 2, DC in same stitch and in each of next 17 stitches (18 DC)
Row 2-9- Ch 2, turn, DC in same stitch and in each stitch across (18 DC) Fasten off
Back Panel-
Return to last row of Bottom Section. Starting in the first stitch following the first front panel, join with slip stitch.
Row 1- Ch 2, DC in same stitch and in each of next 3 stitches (36 DC)
Row 2-9- Ch 2, turn, DC in same stitch and in each stitch across (36 DC) Fasten off.
2nd Front Panel:
Return to last row of Bottom Section. Starting in the first unworked stitch, join with slip stitch.
Repeat first front panel. (9 rows of 18 DC)
Join Shoulders:
Fold the front panels over to meet in the center. Slip stitch the outer 7 DC on each front panel to the outer 7 DC on the back panel.
Your piece should now resemble a vest, with 44 unjoined stitches across the top.
Section 3: The Hood
The hood is worked in 2 sections which are stitched together.
First Section:
Join with slip stitch to the 1st of the first of the unworked 44 stitches of the neckline.
Row 1: Ch 2, DC in same stitch and in next 10 stitches across, 1 DC in corner, DC in next 11 stitches. (23 DC) This row will end in the center of the back panel. Leave the remaining stitches in that row unworked.
Row 2-6: Ch 2, turn, DC in same stitch and in each stitch across (23 DC)
Row 7: Ch 2, turn, DC in same stitch and in next 20 stitches across, decrease DC over the last 2 stitches (22 DC)
Row 8: Ch 2, turn decrease DC over same stitch and next stitch, one DC in each of the stitch across (21 DC)
Row9:Ch 2, turn, DC in same stitch and in next 18 stitches across, decrease DC over the last 2 stitches (20 DC)
Row 10: Ch 2, turn decrease DC over same stitch and next stitch, one DC in each stich across (19 DC)
Row 11: Ch 2, turn, DC in same stitch and in next 16 stitches across, decrease DC over the last 2 stitches (18 DC)
Row 12-13: Ch 2, turn, DC in same stitch and in each stitch across (18 DC)
Second Section:
Turn your entire robe and join with a slip stitch to the opposite side of your robe in the first of the remaining unworked stitches from the neckline. (at the corner, not next to the first hood section.
Work the same as you did for the first section.
Using the ends that you left, stitch the two halves of the hood together.
Sleeves:
Join with slip stitch to the bottom stitch of the armhole.
** This will make for a very loose, large sleeve. You can decrese the number of stitches around to 24 or 22 at the top for a smaller sleeve.**
Round 1: Ch 2, DC 26 times evenly around the armhole. (26 DC)
Round 2: Ch 2, DC Dec in same stitch and next stitch, DC in each of next 22 Stitches, Dec over last 2 stitches (24 DC)
Round 3: Ch 2, DC Dec in same stitch and next stitch, DC in each of next 20 Stitches, Dec over last 2 stitches (22 DC)
Round 4: Ch 2, DC Dec in same stitch and next stitch, DC in each of next 18 Stitches, Dec over last 2 stitches (20 DC)
